after working for more than 2 years now, i finally have something to call my own - a studio type condo unit. Its located in the heart of the metro… kalentong (mandaluyong) .w00t!! Well its just a medium-rise condominium… not so engrande like the ones that youd find in makati or global city. But still… its a condo. daba?
at first i was very hesitant to get the unit. I wasnt sure then because i thought its not worth it.bastard me. Actually, the unit was only offered to JRU employees (then) because the developers thought na maybe hindi ito mag-click sa public. So my mom and my cousin, who also works there, got 1 unit each. Months later, my cousin decided to back out because I think he and his wife thought that the place is too small for them (a lot of thinking eh?). My mom told me to get it. And so I did… and the rest was history.

It was really a good deal since I didnt have to pay for any downpayment. Binayaran ko lang yung same amount na nabayaran na ng cousin ko and just continued paying more or less P3000 monthly for the i-forgot-the-fking-term payment. Then i have to pay for some processing fees and other whatever-we-thought-of fees… and voila… ready for occupancy na sha. Yun lang.. that made me broke… i mean really broke with a capital BROKE. I think its worth it though. I just have to start saving all over again. (I just started saving 2-3 months ago..haha). And before i forget, ive heard that the value of the same units nowadays cost 100% more.o diba?
as of the moment, me thinks of making it a fully-furnished apartment. Kahit basic lang ang laman like tv,ref, stove at sala set. pangpataas ng value. hehe. Pero since wala pa kong pera, as ive mentioned why, e bare apartment for rent nalang siguro. siguro. gusto ko na nga sanang tirahan e… pero i still cant afford to live on my own. not that i couldnt live independently - who doesnt want independence? - di ko lang talaga kaya pa financially. saka na siguro pag may ibabahay na.bwahaha.
